April - From Blue to Better Virtual Run 5K, 10K & Half Marathon

Pensacola and its surrounding counties are saturated with 5K races and charity events.  On any given Saturday you can find some place that is hosting a walk, run, bike, or crawl event, so why add another one?  The From Blue to Better Virtual Run is a bit different.  A virtual run is a race like any other however you can track your mileage over time, run anywhere you’d like, do it indoors, and have your friends participate.  Registration is online like a typical race and participants collect a bib and medal upon completion; but the fun twist is that racers are encouraged to wear blue, take selfies, cause a scene and the idea is to get people to ask “why are they wearing blue and what’s that about?”

What: From Blue to Better Virtual Run

Where: Anywhere you want

When: April 1st- 30th

How: Donate $25, print your bib, put on a blue shirt, get moving, upload your time and fun pictures for awards and pick up your medal.

Why: Proceeds are reinvested back into the From Blue to Better campaign.
